Mounting options with concealed hinges: Do-It-Yourself with Hettich

Furniture doors can be mounted in three different positions in relation to the carcase. Overlaid doors are positioned in front of the carcase. This is the most common option in furniture making. Doors can also be mounted to partial panels inside a carcase. This mounting option is called half overlay. If the cabinet carcase surrounds the doors, the mounting style is refered to as being inset.
